Over the weekend, my friend drove out to a local racetrack for a day of practice on his motorcycle. I had all intentions of going but then work came up and I had to drop out. This was obviously disappointing but another friend went and brought a HD camcorder he had bought online. From various turns of the desert track, he recorded the action focusing on our friend.... 
When my buddy sent me a web link to a video he had just posted of a few laps he’d taken during a local track day the first question I had was how he mounted the HD camcorder. The resolution of his camera caught nearly every detail of the track from behind his windscreen. I would think a HD camcorder of that quality would be a bulky addition to the bike instrument cluster....
