Tomorrow morning my husband, daughter and I will be heading the several hours to the next state to visit her new college campus. School begins in less than three weeks, so we’ve got the Garmin GPS programmed and ready to lead the way. I still can’t believe that the time has almost come that we’ll be kissing our daughter goodbye and watch her move out of our home and into her dorm. My husband and daughter don’t realize it yet, but I ordered her a Garmin GPS that should arrive sometime the end of this week so that she will be able to find her way not only to school, but around the new city. I know they are both going to laugh at me for wanting to make sure she’s got the Garmin GPS to help her get around, but I know how easy it is to get turned around in big cities. I also found it online for a great price and figured that the Garmin GPS could only come in handy. I’m looking forward to this new chapter in all of our lives, albeit a little bittersweet.
