My husband blessed me with a new Canon digital camera for Mother's Day this year. Although I thoroughly enjoy capturing my kids and all of their crazy faces with my new camera, it has become one of the best business tools I have ever had.
One of the reasons that I wanted a Canon digital camera so badly was so that I could use its macro feature. This feature takes great close up shots with clarity and detail. Since I work with a lot of crafts that are full of detail, I am grateful for the pictures that this new camera gets. They really help show my customers what they are getting in my products. Once I have my photographs uploaded from my camera onto my laptop notebook, I am ready to work at getting the sales. Taking the pictures is only half of the job. Writing just the right description is the other half of the work that needs to be done in order to "show" my customer a product that they will only see in pictures before they order online.
