I like to go to the corner coffee shop on the weekends and just sit around enjoying some "me" time with some coffee and a danish. I bring my laptop notebook with me during these times so I can catch up on some blog reading, emails, and just surf the 'net for a little while. This past week I changed my routine a little when I bought a new netbook laptop notebook. It is very mobile, small, lightweight, and easy to use. However, it might just be too easy.

After I had finished my third cup of coffee at the coffee shop I had to get to my parents house for a small party for my niece. I quickly cleaned up my table, put my paper in my bag and left. Once I got to my parents house I brought my bag in to show them my new laptop notebook. The only problem with that is that it wasn't in my bag. The new netbook is so small and light that I didn't notice it wasn't in my bag! I must have left it on the table. I called the coffee shop and, sure enough, the clerk noticed that I had walked off without it, but was already gone
by the time they could get out to tell me. All is good though. I stopped by on my way home from my parent's house to pick up my laptop notebook. I was even able to sneak in another coffee and muffin before heading home.
