Laptop Notebook
My dads' birthday is coming up this month and the one thing he’s mentioned wanting is laptop notebook accessories. He usually buys himself any of the newest and greatest home theater components and other toys, but is still carrying around the same laptop notebook that he bought five or six years ago. When I complain that the thing is as slow as a turtle, he just laughs and tells me to have a little patience, that it works just fine. He’s right of course, but that's beside the point.
In the time that he's had the laptop notebook, he’s never owned any laptop accessories, not even a laptop bag! I’m half tempted to conspire with mom to see if we should splurge and actually buy him a new laptop notebook, and hide it inside his laptop bag. I know he’d be thrilled, even if he doesn’t ‘need’ a new laptop. If I can talk her into that, I’ll ask him to go online and choose the laptop accessories he’s been wanting, and that we’ll pay for him. He’ll think that’s all he’s getting, and imagine the surprise on his face when he sees what’s inside the laptop case! It’s such a great idea, I think I’ll go call mom right now.
